A lampshade arrangement, reimagined.

The Bloomshade™ — Floral Form No. I marks a new direction within the Atelier—an exploration of how far a lampshade can move beyond its traditional role. Developed bloom by bloom, the piece shifts away from conventional construction, where material is applied to a frame, and instead builds form through composition itself.

Each floral element is individually placed, contributing not only to surface, but to structure. What emerges is a layered, dimensional silhouette—one that reads as both sculptural object and functional light. Balance, proportion, and movement guide the arrangement, resulting in a form that feels organic in appearance, yet highly considered in execution.

Shown both unlit and illuminated, the piece reveals two distinct expressions. In daylight, the structure holds its shape with clarity and presence. When lit, the composition softens, allowing light to move through the layers—introducing warmth, depth, and a subtle diffusion that transforms the atmosphere around it.

Created as a one-of-one within the Atelier, Floral Form No. I is not a replicated design, but the beginning of an evolving body of work. Future Floral Forms may be developed, each distinct in composition and interpretation, but never reproduced.

This piece stands as the final addition to the Atelier Edition SS26 collection.
