Annual Derby Brunch sponsored by the Hortense B. Perry Foundation in partnership with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® Eta Omega
Each Derby season brings with it a sense of celebration, tradition, and thoughtful gathering—and this year, Admiral Landings Designs is honored to be included among the curated vendors at one of Louisville’s premier Derby weekend events.
Welcoming over 1,000 distinguished guests, the event features a fashion show, elegant brunch, and a scholarship awards ceremony recognizing some of the city’s most promising students. It is a moment that brings together style, community, and purpose in a way that feels both elevated and meaningful.
As a vendor, we are invited into this setting to share our work within an environment that values craftsmanship, detail, and intentional design. While the brunch experience itself is ticketed, the vendor marketplace is open for guests to explore—offering a more relaxed opportunity to browse, connect, and experience the collections in person.
We look forward to welcoming both attendees and visitors alike into this space, where the details can be seen up close and the work can be experienced as it was meant to be—within a setting that celebrates beauty, craftsmanship, and thoughtful design.
One-of-a-Kind Show + Sale Chicago
Admiral Landings Designs will be exhibiting at the renowned One of a Kind Show & Sale Chicago, a premier juried event celebrating exceptional craftsmanship and independent design. Held each spring in downtown Chicago, the show brings together hundreds of carefully selected artists and makers from across North America, offering visitors the opportunity to experience and shop distinctive, handcrafted work directly from the creators themselves.
At the Admiral Landings Designs booth (E24), guests will be able to explore a curated collection of handcrafted lampshades—each thoughtfully designed and made by hand using couture textiles, refined trims, and meticulous construction techniques. The event will also mark the exclusive debut of the Atelier Edition SS26 collection, unveiled first at the show before becoming available later on the Admiral Landings Designs website.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to meet founder and designer Ashlee Barclay, learn about the craftsmanship behind each piece, and experience lighting designed to elevate interiors with character, warmth, and individuality.
Keynote Speaker — Citizens Women’s Connection (March Gathering)
Ashlee Barclay will serve as the March keynote speaker for the Citizens Women’s Connection monthly gathering, held during Women’s History Month.
In this talk, Ashlee shares her journey from educator to entrepreneur and reflects on how women often develop business leadership skills through real-life responsibility, adaptability, and care.
Her message reframes discipline, success, and growth through a lens of devotion and sustainability — encouraging women to build businesses that align with their lives, not compete with them.
Meet the Maker: ALD x Bethany Adams Interiors
Admiral Landings Designs was honored to be the inaugural featured maker for Bethany Adams Interiors’ “Meet the Maker” series, held in the beautiful BAI White Glove showroom in Louisville. The evening brought together members of the design community, clients, and friends for an intimate gathering celebrating craftsmanship, creativity, and the art of lighting.
Guests had the opportunity to explore Admiral Landings’ handcrafted lampshades in person, preview new designs, and learn more about the inspiration and process behind the work. Surrounded by Bethany’s thoughtfully curated showroom, the event fostered meaningful conversations, new connections, and a shared appreciation for beautifully layered interiors.
It was a memorable evening and a wonderful beginning to what promises to be a special series highlighting makers within the design industry.
Hyde Park Square Art Show
We’re thrilled to share that Admiral Landings Designs has been invited by a juried panel to be a showcasing artist at the 59th annual Hyde Park Square Art Show in Cincinnati on Sunday, October 5th!
Set against the charm of Hyde Park, this curated outdoor event brings together 200+ artists from across the country. It’s a perfect day for browsing, collecting, and soaking in something beautiful before autumn fully arrives.

Our first Hyde Park Square Art Show was everything we hoped for—and more.
Between meeting so many incredible new clients and sharing stories with fellow design lovers, the camera stayed mostly in our pockets. But what a beautiful blur it was—an experience I’ll never forget.
Somewhere between the laughter, the conversations, and handing out over 100 business cards in the first hour and a half, I think I found my extroverted side.
